Discovering my love for baking pies…

was truly a happy accident and what I believe, in my heart, to have been fate. In 2015, while on a third date with my now husband, we shared a slice of Key Lime pie at a local restaurant. He mentioned how Key Lime was his favorite pie and in that moment I thought, “Oh I can definitely bake him a pie and surprise/impress him!” You know the old saying, “the way to man's heart is through his stomach.” 

Unknowingly, I manipulated the recipe I was using from the very first Key Lime pie I ever baked, bringing to life our secret recipe that you now all know and love. Over the years my Key Lime pie became “my thing” that I was always asked to bring to any get together. Slowly but surely the idea of being able to sell them to people became a reality and I was selling to friends and family. Soon after I learned all that it took to start selling at the farmer’s markets and there entered my loving sous-chef and Dad, a retired fire chief turned pie baker! We now spend our days in the kitchen dreaming up new pie flavors and baking our hearts out to bring you all the pies you know and love. 

Key Lime to Happiness officially came to be in the summer of 2017. And since then our family has worked hard to build our local pie bakery into the business it is today. But we truly would not be where we are today without the love and support of our family, friends, and customers. Our goal has always been and will forever remain to bring you all the best tasting pies with amazing customer service.
